Description, stock levels etc... 70 yards from the front door of your luxury self-catering lodge in South Hams, Devon, there's a fishing lake, over half an acre in size. The water often looks golden in colour, due to the complex mineral profile of the surrounding terrain - the lake is fed by a fresh water stream which helps to support the very rich bio-diversity of this protected environment.
The Lake was originally stocked over 35 years ago, and has remained self sufficient ever since. An abundance of healthy Carp populate the lake (mainly Mirror and Common). The record size caught to date stands at 28Lb's!
The lodge comfortably sleeps 4 people and comes equipped with all modern appliances (microwave, hobs, oven, microwave, TV, DVD player, wii, heated flooring, walk in drench shower with mood lighting)
